Snow and strong winds expected across parts of northern Ontario


The season of early snowfalls is here.


On Monday and Tuesday snow is expected across parts of northeastern Ontario and areas north of Lake Superior. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm is possible.


The snow will taper off on Tuesday evening.


Snow won't be the only issue. Gusty winds are expected for areas to the east and north of Lake Superior. Wind gusts between 70 and 80 km/h are possible. The winds will diminish on Tuesday evening.


Normal highs for Thunder Bay this time of year is 10 degrees and the normal low is 0 degrees.
