Snow squalls and biting cold temperatures across Southern Ontario

It's not the best way to start the weekend but we are talking about snow squalls today and tomorrow across parts of southern Ontario.

Today there is a risk of snow squalls along the eastern shore of Lake Huron and the southern western shore of Georgian Bay. Snow squalls that developed overnight are expected to continue today.

Some areas could see 5 to 10 cm of snow today. Blowing snow is also likely.

On Saturday areas along the northern and northeastern shore of Georgian Bay and inland to the south of Sudbury could also see snow squalls.

Amounts of 5 to 10 cm is possible. There will also be some blowing snow.

Be prepared to adjust your driving accordingly.

It's not only snow squalls, southern Ontario hasn't managed to escape the cold air that has invaded most of Canada. Some of the coldest temperatures of the season are anticipated for today.
