Snow Squalls in Parts of Southern Ontario

Snow squalls may develop this afternoon along the shores of Lake Huron, Georgian Bay, the Niagara Peninsula, and the Kingston area.

Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 centimetres are possible. Wind gusts between 60 km/h and 80 km/h are also possible. The snow combined with strong winds may cause reduced visibility at times. Be prepared for changing driving conditions.

These snow squalls may persist into Saturday.

The snow that is falling this morning is not associated with the snow event that is expected to start this afternoon.
