Snowy day ahead for northern Manitoba

An area of low pressure that developed along the Alberta/Northwest Territories will deliver snow to northern Manitoba today.

Across a large swath of northern Manitoba, snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected. Some areas, particularly in the northwest corner of the province, could see up to 15 cm of snow.

The snow will continue overnight before coming to an end by Thursday morning.

Travel along Highway 280 and 391 could be dangerous due to snow-covered roads.
