Southwestern Mexico rocked by earthquake

This morning there was a 6.2 magnitude earthquake in Mexico.


The earthquake occurred 8.5 km southeast of Coalcomán de Vázquez Pallares, Mexico and was at a depth of 86 km. It happened at 5:32 a.m. local time.


There were no reports of damage or causalities.


Coalcomán de Vázquez Pallares has a population of 19,633 and is in the southwestern part of the country.
