Storm moving through Ontario


It will be an unsettled couple of days across the majority of Ontario as a low pressure system moves through.


For portions of northern Ontario snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected today. Strong and gusty winds will result in blowing snow.


Across northeastern Ontario, snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible today. Strong and gusty winds will result in blowing snow.


Across southern Ontario, there is a risk of patchy freezing rain. Additionally, winds will gust to 70 km/h for most of the region. There is a risk of power outages.


The severe weather will continue on Thursday with strong winds in southern Ontario and snow and blowing snow for northeastern Ontario.
