Strong earthquake recorded off the coast of El Salvador

A 6.0 magnitude earthquake occurred this morning near the coast of Guatemala.
The earthquake occurred at 4:14 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 10 km. It was centred 81.3 km southwest of Acajutla, El Salvador.
Acajutla is El Salvador's principal seaport, where most products are shipped from.
There were no reports of any injuries or damage, and the earthquake did not generate a tsunami.
