A low-pressure system located off the coast of South Carolina will gradually intensify as it tracks up the Eastern Seaboard and will hit Quebec and Atlantic Canada Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

It remains too early to provide specific precipitation amounts, however, it looks like rain for Nova Scotia, eastern New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

Western New Brunswick and southern Quebec will likely see freezing rain Monday afternoon or evening before changing over to snow in the overnight hours.

Precipitation across Newfoundland will likely be in the form of rain, there is a risk of freezing rain along the west coast.

Labrador will see snow.
