The Lyrids Meteor Shower, which occurs annually from about April 15 to April 29, is nearly at its peak.

It will peak on Tuesday night. The radiant of the meteor shower is located near the constellations Lyra and Hercules, near the bright star Vega.

During the peak, and depending on weather conditions, skygazers will typically see 5 to 20 meteors per hour.

Those in cities with light pollution will see less, or, depending on the intensity of the pollution, none.
