Time to Remove Ice Fishing Shelters in Saskatchewan

Ice fishing season is coming to an end in Saskatchewan.

Anglers are reminded to remove their ice fishing shelters. The deadline to do so is March 15 south of Highway 16 and March 31 north of the highway.

Not only are the shelters to be removed but any litter and leftover debris need to be removed.

Spring weather is arriving and with the warmer temperatures, it can be easy to overestimate how much time you have to safely remove ice shelters.
