Tornado Confirmed in Saskatchewan

On Saturday afternoon severe thunderstorms developed across southern Saskatchewan. The storms persisted through the night.

Environment and Climate Change Canada has confirmed a tornado.

At approximately 4:15 pm CST 7 km northwest of Northgate a tornado touched down.

There was no damage reported, the estimated wind speed was 90 to 130 km/h. The preliminary rating was an EF-0.
