Tornadoes Rip Across Arkansas to Virginia


Severe thunderstorms left a path of destruction from Arkansas to Virginia Wednesday night.

Several tornadoes were reported.

Damage was reported at several homes and tens of thousands of people lost power.

An EF2 tornado hit Harrisburg, Arkansas damaging several homes. There was also an EF1 tornado in Mooresville, Indiana.

There were also reports of large hail and strong wind gusts.

At least two people were reported injured by the Poinsett County Sheriff.

About 4,000 people in Arkansas were knocked off the grid. 60,000 customers in Ohio remained in the dark overnight. In central Indiana, about 70,000 customers were without power.
