Trout River Declares State of Emergency

The Town of Trout River has declared a state of emergency.

Residents are asked to avoid the waterfront area due to extremely high wind and waves that are expected to continue into tomorrow.

Damage has been reported from the high waves in the area.

Some property damage has been reported.
