Two dead after earthquake in the Philippines

Two people have died after an earthquake in the Philippines.

The 6.7 earthquake occurred 26.7 km west-southwest of Burias, Philippines at 4:14 pm local time on Friday.

It was at a depth of 77 kilometres.

There was damage reported to some infrastructure, but no tsunami alert was issued.

Earthquakes are common in the Philippines.
