Update on Alberta Wildfires

There are currently 89 active wildfires in Alberta. Of those fires, 28 are out of control, 13 are held, and 48 are under control.

A provincial state of emergency remains in effect.

Hot, dry conditions continue in most areas of the province resulting in numerous wildfires.

Smoke is causing poor air quality and reduced visibility in many areas. The air quality today is worse than what was experienced yesterday.

Albertans who require assistance can call 310-4455 for wildfire-related information. Translation services are available to provide information services in languages other than English.
