A weather system will impact Atlantic Canada this weekend.
New Brunswick
Northeast New Brunswick could see snow changing to rain and northwest New Brunswick will likely see mostly snow. Central and southern sections of the province will see mostly rain beginning on Saturday. It is too early to provide accurate precipitation amounts. Strong winds are also anticipated.
Prince Edward Island
Rain and wind is expected across the province from Saturday through Saturday night. As the low departs on Sunday, we could see flurries across the province. It is too early to provide accurate precipitation amounts.
Nova Scotia
Heavy rain and strong winds are expected on Saturday and Saturday night. The heaviest rain will occur across southern and eastern Nova Scotia. It is too early to provide accurate precipitation amounts.
Newfoundland
Snow is expected to begin across most of Newfoundland on Saturday evening. The snow will change to rain for most areas on Sunday. The low will depart Sunday evening and behind the low, snow squalls are expected to develop along the west coast. The heaviest rain is expected along the south coast and eastern sections. Strong winds are also expected.
Labrador
Snow will begin on Saturday evening. Heavy snow and strong winds are expected to persist through Sunday. It is too early to provide accurate precipitation amounts.
