Why We Are Watching Hurricane Teddy

It looks like Atlantic Canada may see some impacts from Hurricane Teddy.

The storm is moving northwestward over the next couple of days and then move northward and could reach Atlantic Canada by Tuesday.

While it is far to early to pinpoint where the storm will hit, it does look like it will have winds between 100 km/h and 150 km/h when it enters Canadian waters.

Teddy is expected to become post-tropical on Wednesday.

At this time it looks like Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island will be hit the hardest.

We are continuing to follow developments on Hurricane Teddy and will provide updates as necessary.

To reiterate, we are not saying this storm will be powerful when and if it gets here, but it is a feature we are watching over the next few days.
