Widespread Power Outage in Corner Brook

Many Corner Brook residents awoke to no power this morning.

Newfoundland Power is reporting power outages for Broadway, Brook Street, Cooks Avenue, Edinburgh Avenue, Bannister's Road, Batstones Road, Fishers Road, Premier Drive, Hillcrest Avenue, Olympic Place, Powers Avenue, Quinton Street, Cobb Lane, Commercial Street, Elswick Road, Fudges Road, Herald Avenue, Humber Park, Humber Road, Lower Town Site, Main Street, Mount Bernard Avenue, Park Street, West Valley Road, West Street, University Drive, St. Marks Ave, and Harvey Road.

The power went out at 8:16 am this morning.

There is no word yet on what caused the power outage or what time the power will be back on.
