Winter Storm to Push Across Southern Plains

Ti will be very unsettled across the Southern Plains beginning this evening.

At this time heavy snow is expected across southeastern Colorado to eastern New Mexico and northern Texas.

Over these areas 5 to 8 inches of snow is possible.

In these areas, there are winter storm watches, warnings, and advisories are in effect.

Temperatures will drop over most of Texas and eastern New Mexico as the low pushes through.

Travel is expected to be very difficult.
