Earthquake rattles western Quebec



There was a 4.0 magnitude earthquake in Quebec on Tuesday evening.


The earthquake was centred 28 km west-northwest of Malartic and was at a depth of just one kilometre.


Earthquakes of this magnitude are not strong, but it was felt near the epicentre. Earthquakes Canada received 174 reports.
