Heat returns to Southern Ontario

It will be hot and humid today across most of Southern Ontario.

Today daytime highs will be near 31°C with humidex values near 40, and overnight lows in the low twenties in the southwest.

Across the remainder of southern Ontario, daytime highs will range from 29°C to 31°C, humidex values in the high thirties, and overnight lows in the low twenties.

The region could also see some severe thunderstorms this afternoon.
