Heavy Rain Washes Out Portion of Trans-Labrador Highway


Some areas of Labrador have received close to 100 mm of rain over the weekend.


The heavy rain has washed out a section of the Trans-Labrador highway.


The washout happened on Route 510, approximately 18 km south of the Churchill River.


Crews are on site assessing damage.


Motorists advised to avoid the area as highway is impassable.
