An area of low pressure will bring blizzard conditions to portions of High Plains and potentially northwestern Ontario on Saturday into Sunday.

Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm of snow is expected from northern Nebraska to southeastern North Dakota. Heavy snow is also expected for the central Rockies.

From Nebraska to northern Wisconsin freezing rain and ice pellets are expected.

Across the Midwest, rain is expected.

In Northwestern Ontario, snow will begin Saturday night.

On Sunday, from Thunder Bay and areas North of Lake Superior 15 to 30 cm of snow is expected with strong winds. These conditions will persist into Monday.

In northeastern, central, and eastern Ontario, freezing rain is expected. This will probably be a long-lived freezing rain event. Some snow may mix in across the Ottawa area.

In southern Ontario, precipitation will mostly fall as rain with 20 to 30 mm expected.
