Lots to discuss in the Atlantic

Conditions are changing to a more active pattern in the Atlantic Ocean.

The first is Potential Tropical Cyclone Two which is located a couple of hundred miles east of the southern Windward Islands.

Potential Tropical Cyclone Two has maximum sustained winds near 65 km/h with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next few days if the disturbance remains over water.

In the Northern Gulf of Mexico is an area of low pressure that is continuing to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. A short-lived tropical depression could form near the coast.

In the Central Tropical Atlantic, there is a tropical wave that is producing disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms. Some gradual development is possible later this week.
