Marine Atlantic Cancels Crossings for Today

Due to the severe weather conditions in the Cabot Strait, MArine Atlantic has made some changes to its schedule.

All crossings scheduled for today, October 12, are postponed to Sunday.

• North Sydney to Port aux Basques Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:45 am is now scheduled to depart Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 11:45 am.

• Port aux Basques to North Sydney Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:45 am is now scheduled to depart Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 11:45 am.

• North Sydney to Port aux Basques Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:45 pm is now scheduled to depart Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 11:45 am

• Port aux Basques to North Sydney Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:45 pm is now scheduled to depart Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 11:45 am.

There is a gale warning in effect in the Cabot Strait. Winds are expected to gust to 120 km/h (65 knots) this afternoon and evening.
