There were some tense moments across southern Saskatchewan on Labour Day.

Environment and Climate Change Canada had issued a tornado warning after there were reports of a tornado near Hume, SK at 7:35 pm CST.

The warning was in effect for R.M. of Tecumseh including Stoughton Forget and Heward and R.M. of Griffin including Griffin and Froude.

Several people took to social media with photos of what appeared to be a funnel cloud.

Environment and Climate Change Canada has yet to confirm if a tornado has occurred.
