Scientists Make Unusual Find in Hawaii Volcano

Researchers with the U.S. Geological Survey have made an unusual discovery in the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii.

There is water at the bottom of the summit at the crater.

This is so unusual because that has never been observed before.

Scientists observed a green pool of water about 8 feet long.

Scientists say that water mixing with lava can create eruptions.
