Some adverse weather is expected across Newfoundland today.

Snow is expected across the Northern Peninsula. Snow will also fall for the remainder of the Island but will transition to rain as the day progresses.

Strong winds are also expected.

Due to the snowpack in many parts of the Island, the rain may cause some localized flooding.
