Snow, rain, and freezing rain expected across Ontario today

It will be a snowy day across Southern Ontario as a low moves through the region.

Snow will push through the area today. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm is expected for most of Southern Ontario today.

The snow will wind down this afternoon.

There is a risk of freezing rain from the Niagara Peninsula to London, west to Sarnia early this morning.

Snow squalls will develop off the Great Lakes behind the system.
