Snow squalls expected SE of Lake Superior, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay

Snow squalls are expected to develop east and southeast of Lake Superior, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay on Sunday afternoon and evening.

Snowfall amounts between 25 and 35 cm are expected in the heaviest snow squalls.

Visibility may be greatly reduced at times.

For eastern and central sections of Ontario, there is the potential for some freezing drizzle or freezing rain on Sunday morning. Roads and sidewalks could be slippery with icy sections.

This could have a minor impact on the morning commute.
