Snowbird Crashes in BC


As part of a cross-country tour, a Canadian Forces Snowbird has crashed near Kamloops, B.C.

The aircraft had just taken off and something went wrong.

Emergency crews including the Kamloops Airport's aircraft rescue fleet are responding to the crash involving a Canadian Snowbirds jet.

There is no word on injuries.

The Snowbirds, officially known as 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, are the military aerobatics or air show flight demonstration team of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

The team is based at 15 Wing Moose Jaw near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
