Weather Causing Significant Problems in Nain

Residents in Nain, in northern Labrador, are frustrated after being without internet and long-distance calling for nine days.

Weather is to blame. Dense fog has been constantly lingering in the area for days now.

Air Borealis said "at this point, we have 7 days of Passenger bookings, 7 days of Cargo and 7 days of Charter bookings all on our books to be completed. Naturally, it will not be possible to complete all the activities that we have on the books to be completed in one day of flying activities."

There was a break in the weather on Thursday, however, foggy conditions are expected to return.
