Most of Canada will experience above-normal temperatures this week. Here is a regional breakdown...
Atlantic Canada
Most interior sections of Newfoundland will see temperatures near normal. Coastal areas will likely experience temperatures that are two to three degrees below seasonal. Southern Labrador will see mostly normal temperatures while northern sections will see temperatures slightly above normal.
Across the Maritimes, above-normal temperatures are expected except for Cape Breton Island and eastern mainland Nova Scotia where seasonal conditions are expected.
Quebec
Temperatures are expected to be a couple of degrees warmer than normal except for northern sections where near normal highs are expected.
Ontario
Temperatures are expected to be a couple of degrees warmer than normal except for extreme northern sections where near normal highs are expected.
Prairies
Across southern and central sections of Manitoba, temperatures could be as much as 7 degrees above normal. Northern areas will see near-normal temperatures. Across Saskatchewan and Manitoba, high temperatures will be a couple of degrees above normal.
British Columbia
Temperatures will be a couple of degrees above normal.
Northern Canada
Most areas will see temperatures below normal, except for Yukon.
