An area of low pressure will make for a very wet weekend over Atlantic Canada. Very heavy rainfall is occurring over Cape Breton, with total rainfall amounts of 100 to 200 mm expected from now until Monday morning. Heavy rain is also occurring across eastern Nova Scotia. For those areas, 100 to 150 mm is expected by Monday morning. Rainfall amounts of up to 150 mm could fall across Prince Edward Island by Monday morning.
