An approaching low-pressure system brought rain and gusty winds to southern Manitoba on Monday, with some areas receiving more than 40 mm of rain. Environment Canada reports that, as of 5 a.m. Tuesday, the highest rainfall total was recorded at Drifting River with 43 mm.
